Discussions
The following topics are weekly discussions each worth up to 5 points of extra credit to your Formative grade. Each post or reply earns from 1 to 5 points depending on the depth of its content. Extra credit earned is capped at 30 points per quarter. Credit on a discussion may only be earned during the week that the discussion is open. Every page on a wiki has a discussion tab... and these will be used for campaigning purposes during Mock Congress. Participating in these discussions will help you become a more persuasive writer and speaker as well as a more active participant in class activities.

Topic 6: Wiki Leaks and Freedom of the Press: NOW CLOSED- After releasing thousands of secret U.S. Government documents about our operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, Wikileaks has just released hundreds of thousands of secret State Department documents and messages regarding U.S. relations with countries around the world. Is this patriotism or treason?. (Through Sunday, December 12th)

What sort of laws do you think our country needs to manage the issues that are most important to you ?
